Small and simple = less stress! i went from small to a large home back to small,in todays economy you can buy a 1000 sq ft Foreclosure pretty cheap in some areas! Its funny how alot of people think your poor or down on your luck because i chose to have a small home! In some countries 1000 sq ft is a good size. i watch them work 15 hour days to pay for it all,been there done that, never again !!

Honestly, very good for you. Now I feel guilty because I think my bedroom is almost the size of your home. I envy that you don’t have a mortgage. That’s really terrific. Seems like you have a very functional family too!

That’s so awesome to see someone living with what they need not thinking they need to show off to friends or relatives. Great to see your son likes your idea too. To be mortgage free should give more people the idea to go smaller and live without so much debt. These tiny homes really aren’t that tiny if you know how to organize. I lived in a 6′x12′ travel trailer for a month so the tiny house idea I wouldn’t mind at all. Not to mention the smaller the house the cheaper to heat and cool.

This family is truly wise. They learned great truths.
